Life has a funny way of surprising us when we least expect it. Megan and Alan each led full lives before crossing paths, filled with valuable experiences, growth and important lessons along the way. Now they are excited to blend their families and start this new chapter together.
They met through mutual friends at a Halloween party…one that Megan almost did not attend. Through a lot of convincing by her friend Sarah she decided to go. Alan approached Megan first, and apparently Megan was giving off a disinterested vibe so no numbers were exchanged. (In her defense she was wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle onesie with a painted-on mask, courtesy of Sarah, and Alan was in an old bathrobe and Baby Yoda ears…neither were flattering or sexy). Two weeks later, after a brief passing at the grocery store and some mad online-stalking skills (not by Alan but by Megan) they reconnected. Alan still to this day is convinced that if he did not agree to meet up at Snowpack for their first date (while he had a cold) Megan would not have agreed to reschedule, so (man) cold and all, he showed up and their story began.
As each day goes by, we have built something beautiful. We have learned together, laughed together and loved together. We have combined our families and have started new memories. From skiing and camping to road trips and more, we’ve embraced life in ways we never imagined possible.
